The provided line graph depicts information on the energy demand and the availability of energy from fossil fuels in Freedonia between 1985 and 2005. It can be clearly seen from the line chart that energy demand in Freedonia increased during that 20 years while energy available decreased.
The energy demand in Freedonia decreased rapidly from 5 energy units in 1985 to almost 2 energy units in 1990. After that, it remained constant at about 2 energy units for next five years. Next, it rose gradually to nearly 4 energy units in 2000. Again, it increased sharply from approximately 4 energy units in 2000 to 7 energy units in 2005.
On the other hand, the energy available in Freedonia climbed gradually from nearly 2.5 energy units in 1985 to about 6.5 energy units in 1995. But, it dropped sharply to almost 3 energy units in 2000. Then, the energy availability stabilized at around 3 energy units for the next five years.
